Solar love retreat:
Negril, Jamaica

february 28th - March 4th, 2020

Join Lindsay Ashmun and Amy Quinn Suplina for another low key, high vibe island escape this winter. This year’s edition of our annual Solar Love Retreat is in Jamaica at the Skylark Beach Resort, set on Negril’s famous 7-mile aqua beach.

Retreat pricing includes your five night resort stay and daily morning and evening seafront Vinyasa yoga classes with Lindsay and Amy. A good dose of breath work and mindful strength training will be sprinkled into classes and Lindsay will offer optional sand workouts for the extra motivated among us (though we equally encourage lounging nearby with a glass in hand!) Snorkeling and paddle boarding in the crystal-clear waters are complimentary with our stay at Skylark. We offer the option for you to join the special group travel itinerary for an additional price. Food and beverage is a la carte and charged to your room.

Imagining the Jamaican version of a hip, Havana heyday-era bohemian beach resort, the Skylark Negril draws on inspirations from tropical mid-century, modern design, and the vibrant visual vocabulary of Jamaica and it’s vast musical culture. The boutique hotel fosters relaxation and inspires social encounters and creativity. Travelers receive an instant insider experience, making guests feel local on arrival. Friendly and connected staff offer highly bespoke and local personal travel experiences. The soundtrack is an ever-present, ultra-educated mix of Jamaican music spanning the decades.” – Skylark resort

Enjoy amazing island cooking and libations on site at the first Jamaican outpost of Miss Lily’s restaurant, “a homecoming for the beloved Caribbean restaurant born in NYC.” Many other fantastic culinary experiences can be discovered nearby. Food and drink for the retreat is ‘choose your own adventure.’ Single travelers will have no problem connecting with others on the retreat for some group meals and hanging if they wish.

Negril is 90 minutes from the nearest airport in Montego Bay. We’ve arranged a group flight and hotel transfer to optimize your ease in getting to and from the retreat. Email for details and pricing.

The resort offers a menu of suggested off-premise excursions for additional fees including waterfalls and mineral bath visits; jungle canopy zip-lining; parasailing, glass bottom boating, and more. We’ll take an optional trip to the hotel’s sister property Rockhouse for a meal and learn about their work to expand and uplevel Jamaica’s education system via their Rockhouse Foundation.
